Sprucing Up Blacknight HQ In Advance of the Opening

Blacknight logo mounted on the wall inside Blacknight HQ in Carlow, Ireland

Over the last few weeks at Blacknight HQ we’ve been working on putting the final touches to everything in advance of Monday’s opening.

We’ve got a nice big logo on the wall as you come into the building (see above) which looks really fantastic.

Outside the building we’ve taken down the rather sad little sign that we first put up when we moved into part of the building about 8 years or so ago. We replaced it with a much bigger sign that shows that yes, this is our building. All of it 🙂

But before that we had to get the entire outside of the building power hosed – it needed it and it looks a lot better for it.

Conn, who does the podcasts with me and is the driving force behind Technology.ie‘s output, shot some video of the guys putting the new sign up on the building:

We’ll be posting more videos and photos both here, on technology.ie and across our various social media accounts over the next couple of days. Check out our Instagram feed for some that we’ve posted in the last few days

Oh and since not everyone can come to our data centre opening we’re going to try and stream the event live. Details on this to follow – keep an eye on our Facebook page and Twitter account for exact details which we hope to share tomorrow.

We’ll be posting more about the new data centre in the coming days, but in the interim I’d like to take a moment to thank our entire team for all their work on making this happen. Without them it would be impossible for us to do this.
