There are conferences, and then there’s Congregation.
In just 44 days, people from different backgrounds, industries and walks of life will come together in Cong, County Mayo, for three days of ideas, conversations and connections at this year’s Congregation. Blacknight is delighted to be supporting the event once again.
Congregation is a little different from your typical conference. Rather than sitting through a packed schedule of presentations, it’s an opportunity to share ideas, challenge assumptions, meet interesting people and explore topics from different perspectives. And it all takes place in the beautiful surroundings of Cong.
This year’s big question: Trust
Trust is something we all rely on, often without giving it much thought. We trust people, businesses, technology and the information we come across every day. But what happens when that trust is questioned? How do we build it, maintain it or win it back when things go wrong?
That’s the thinking behind this year’s theme, Trust. It’s a topic that touches almost every part of our lives, leaving plenty of room for different opinions, unexpected ideas and lively discussion. And that’s exactly what Congregation is all about
What’s happening?
Congregation is a three-day, in-person gathering designed to encourage conversation, collaboration and fresh thinking. The programme includes the main unconference sessions, where attendees can exchange ideas and explore the theme together, alongside opportunities to connect with other participants and enjoy the surroundings of Cong. It’s not about having all the answers. It’s about being curious, asking questions and discovering what happens when different perspectives meet.
You don’t just buy a ticket
One of the things that makes Congregation unique is how you get a place. Rather than simply booking a ticket, prospective attendees are invited to submit an idea inspired by the theme of Trust. That could be a story, an observation, a question or a fresh perspective. The important thing is having something you’d like to share. So, if you’ve been thinking about trust in business, technology, relationships or society, why not put your thoughts out there? You never know where the conversation might lead.
Proud to support Congregation
Blacknight has supported Congregation for several years, and we’re delighted to be involved again. We’re big believers in the value of sharing knowledge, questioning the status quo and giving good ideas room to grow. With just 44 days to go, we’re looking forward to seeing what this year’s theme inspires and to another gathering full of interesting people and even more interesting conversations.
