Irish IPv6 Summit

ipv6 summit
We’ve talked about IPv6 several times in the past.

The Irish IPv6 Summit is being held in Dublin Castle today and will feature speakers from both Ireland and overseas. This year’s summit is using the “clock is ticking” motif ie. time is running out.

The event is split into sections which cover various user scenarios:

  • National Contexts
  • Mobile Wireless and Fixed Broadband
  • Deployment and Policy Issues
  • Enterprise Issues and Discussion

I’ll be giving a short talk on the challenges and issues of deploying IPv6 in a hosting environment.
