So Your Short IE Domain Application Is Going To Auction .. ..

Concept For Corruption Bankruptcy Bail Crime Bribing Fraud Auction Bidding. Judges or Auctioneer Gavel Soundboard And Euro Cash On The Rough Black Wooden Textured Table Background.

The IEDR are currently putting live uncontested short IE domain names that were registered during landrush. If your DNS is configured correctly they’ll have gone live earlier today – if your domain hasn’t please check that your DNS is setup correctly!

But several domains were “contested” and will go to auction.

So what does this mean for you?

We’ve been liaising with IEDR over the last few days to get a clear overview of how the process will work.

The auctions are being managed by Divido. They’ve handled auctions for other ccTLD operators, so they know what they’re doing.

If your contested domain was applied for via us we’ll be in touch with details as soon as we get them from IEDR and Divido.

When will this all happen?

The initial notices should be sent out on April 1st.

The auctions will commence on April 15th

Please make sure to whitelist email from divido.org, as they’ll be sending you both login details for the auction platform as well as important notices about the bidding process.

Happy bidding!
