It’s been 8 years since the .eu domain name launched.
Now with well over 3 million domain names registered the .eu domain is one of the largest in the world (7th largest ccTLD according to the latest report from CENTR)
The guys over at EUrid have released a graphic to illustrate some of the highlights of the last 8 years:
They’ve also got some nice interactive graphics over on their site showing where .eu domain names are registered – Ireland accounts for around 32 thousand domains, while the UK is closing in on 350 thousand!
If you’re doing business across the EU then maybe you should consider a .eu domain name?
