We’re delighted to share some exciting news from our partners at EURid, the .eu registry. After a short break and a fresh new makeover, the .eu Web Awards returned on 3 September 2025, celebrating the very best .eu websites across Europe.
The Web Awards are an opportunity to highlight the creativity, innovation, and impact of .eu domain holders, and we’d love to see our Blacknight clients take part.
What’s New in 2025?
This year, the Web Awards are coming back in a shorter, sharper format, with a renewed focus on online excellence. Instead of a formal gala, the winners will be revealed online and promoted widely across digital channels.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Five categories, one winner in each
- Winners showcased with professional videos and online promotion
- Accredited registrars (like Blacknight!) recognised alongside winners
Key Dates to Take Note:
- 3–30 September → Nominations open
- 6 October → Finalists announced (five per category)
- 6–31 October → Public voting + jury review
- 4 November → Winners revealed online
Fantastic Prizes for the Winners
Each of the five winners will receive:
- €5,000 towards an online marketing campaign
- A professional testimonial video
- Digital badges to showcase their success
