What’s teh ball park salary?
25k – 35k – depends on experience etc.
Is it a graduate roll ?
Eoin Campbell what do you mean?
doh. s/roll/role… was asking was it targetted at graduates or what level of experience were you looking for?
Eoin Campbell it’s a junior position. We’re more interested in people who are happy “tinkering” with websites than people with “fancy” qualifications đŸ™‚
Yeah, those “fancy” qualifications really aren’t up to much. Might be worth putting the “junior” thing in the job spec though. was going to forward it on to a buddy, but honestly didn’t know what to make of the job term “Web Monkey”, and neither the blogpost/donedeal job mentions the term junior so I kinda balked at the salary range o_O
Eoin Campbell I’d have thought the “web monkey” title was an indication? đŸ™‚
don’t suppose your hiring any “rails ninjas” or “code poets” at more senior levels đŸ˜‰
Eoin Campbell so you know about our “code poet” ? đŸ™‚ It’s on his business card and in his job contract I think đŸ™‚ We generally hire programmers with experience in quite specific things – have a look at some of the past jobs over on http://technicaljobs.ie or our blog to get an idea .
