NB: This does NOT include other extensions, such as “generics” that big brands might have applied for.

What do you think about branded domains Michele – will they get the go ahead and what conditions will apply? Have ICANN given any strong indications about them?

Of course they’ll go ahead. If Google wants .google or BMW wants to have .bmw there’s no reason why they shouldn’t have them. If you want to see what they’re planning with any extension check out the public part of the applications via http://www.dotwhat.co/ – they’re linked to
