Some stories stay with you long after you hear or see them, and Molly vs the Machines is one of those. We’re so proud to be supporting this private screening as the Title Sponsor, organised by CyberSafeKids in partnership with the Molly Rose Foundation. Both are doing incredible work to support families, raise awareness about online risks, and empower young people to navigate the digital world safely
The film tells the heartbreaking story of Ian Russell, a father who turned grief into action after losing his 14-year-old daughter, Molly, to harmful content online. It’s an emotional story, yes—but also an inspiring one. It shows how communities, awareness, and compassion can come together to make the internet a safer place for young people, and how positive change is possible.
The evening will also feature a panel of experts and provide a chance to meet parents, journalists, and organisations who are all passionate about online safety and youth wellbeing. It’s more than just a film—it’s a conversation, a celebration of progress, and a moment to reflect on how we can all play a part in supporting young people online.
We hope you’ll join us in watching Molly vs the Machines and in celebrating the positive steps being taken by families, communities, and organisations working together to create safer online spaces for young people.
