Monday 30 October 2017 is a public holiday in Ireland.

Support will be available by email and live chat from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday. Telephone service will be provided for support, accounts and sales from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The usual on-call support will be available to colocation and dedicated server customers.

Online domain sales will be unaffected, with the exception of IE domains which require manual confirmation by the IE Domain Registry (IEDR), who will also be closed for the public holiday.

Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday 31 October.

Met Éireann reports that it will be a mostly dry weekend which patches of mist and rain and mild temperatures.

The country’s biggest Halloween festival is the cleverly-named Galway Aboo Festival. It gets underway today, and includes the Salthill Zombie Chase (tomorrow) and the annual Halloween parade on Sunday, by Macnas which celebrates its 31st anniversary this year.

The Guinness Jazz Festival in Cork celebrates 40 years this weekend, and the SSE Airtricity Dublin City Marathon is on Monday.

Wexford Festival Opera continues until November 5.
