If you’re a blogger do you have your own domain name?
The new .blog domain name is now available so if you wanted to setup a blog to talk about your favourite topic you can now register names like:
mytopic.blog
myhometown.blog
myhobby.blog
and thousands and thousands of other options.
Here at Blacknight several of us grabbed some .blog domains yesterday when they launched, though we won’t be revealing exactly which ones just yet .. .
I’m quite jealous of one of my staff who managed to get his name in .blog ie. firstname.blog. Nicely done!
Once you get your .blog domain name you can then choose how you want to use it.
You can map it to your existing blog or setup a new one.
