APWG eCrime Research Syncup Barcelona

I’ve been a member of the APWG for several years, but for a variety of reasons I’ve never been able to attend any of their events.

The APWG was originally the “anti-phishing working group”, but its role and remit has changed over the years, as have the cybercrime threats that we all have to deal with on a daily basis.

This week I’ll be in Barcelona so I will attend at least part of the eCrime event being held there.

The agenda is an interesting mixture of cybercrime, crypto currencies and other topics of interest to organisations that are active in the infosec / cybercrime realm.

If you’re interested in finding out more Conn recently did a podcast with Foy Shiver, one of the event organisers.
