We’re Excited About Tech Thursday — and Proud to be Sponsoring Again

We love technology, but we care just as much about community. That’s why we’re proud to sponsor Tech Thursday again this year.

We got involved for the first time last year, and after seeing the strong interest, meaningful conversations, and great connections it created, it was an easy decision to come back.

Tech Thursday isn’t just another tech event — it’s something different. And that’s exactly why we’re proud to be part of it.

So, what is Tech Thursday?

Tech Thursday isn’t about flashy demos, “tool of the week” trends, or bold predictions that leave you more confused than inspired.

Instead, it’s about stepping back and looking at the bigger picture. It’s a space to simplify complex topics, ask better questions, and explore ideas that really matter.

Each session brings together speakers from different backgrounds who share real-world experience. That means practical insights, honest perspectives, and meaningful conversations. Most importantly, it creates a community where people can connect, debate, and learn from each other.

Why Tech Thursday Exists

Tech Thursday exists to support enterprise-led collaboration through community.

The goal is simple: help people and organisations become more resilient and achieve more — together.

It does this by:

  • Encouraging peer-to-peer connections that build confidence and motivation
  • Growing individual skills while strengthening collective organisational learning
  • Bridging knowledge gaps and breaking down silos
  • Sharing good practices to create consistency and raise standards
  • Creating collaboration opportunities that improve the quality of delivery

At its core, Tech Thursday is about resilience, flexibility, creative thinking, and lifelong learning.

How Tech Thursday Works

It alternates between both online and in person events, making it accessible and inclusive. Each event is designed to spark real conversations, build meaningful connections, and bring together people from different industries and backgrounds.

It attracts growing and established enterprises across Ireland, along with local and global speakers who share practical insights, current trends, and tangible learning.

There’s a clear gap in enterprise-led learning today. Traditional programmes are often outdated, expensive, and struggle to keep up with rapid change. At the same time, many change initiatives fail because people don’t feel connected, supported, or valued.

Tech Thursday takes a different approach. It’s community-driven and participant-led. By empowering people to learn from each other, it supports stronger collaboration and more effective change

The next event is tomorrow – Thursday, Feb 12 from 7 pm to 8:30 pm GMT in Langtons, Kilkenny.

Beyond the Tools: Seeing Around Corners with AI

Strategy, category creation and what’s changing inside organisations.

AI is everywhere, but most conversations stop at tools, prompts and productivity.

This Tech Thursday takes a different approach. Rather than focusing on how to use AI, the evening explores how AI is reshaping markets, creating entirely new categories and changing the way organisations and roles are designed.

You can sign up and join the community to stay up to date on upcoming events or just keep an eye on the John Cleere’s (Founder of Tech Thursday) LinkedIn Page, or follow them on Eventbrite.

It’s all about exploring change, asking better questions, and learning together.
