New Site – New Plans – New Everything!!

If you’ve just gone to our website you may notice that it’s changed. Not just a minor overhaul, but a full redesign (SpoiltChild) with CMS magic (2Bscene) and various other things integrated (Blacknight internal).
The new hosting plans offer:

  • More space
  • More bandwidth
  • Single login
  • More features
  • More databases and database technologies

We will be migrating client billing accounts and domains into the new billing system as soon as we can (ie. over the next few weeks) but there is no magical way to move hosting from our old systems.
I’ll be posting a bit over the next few days in more detail about the new plans and what we’re doing that’s different.
If you have any issues or simply want to give us feedback please do.

I’ve been looking your new plans and have a little question:
    Is Ruby on Rails available?
I have not seen any clue.
    Thanks in advance

We are not offering Ruby on Rails on our shared platform.
If you are interested in ROR I’d recommend one of our VPS plans:

So by “no magical way”, do you mean that you won’t be upgrading people on current hosting packages to the new plans?

We will be offering people the opportunity to upgrade from our old plans to the new ones, but content etc., cannot be migrated with a click of a button. If you are interested in moving to the new hosting plans and platform please contact our sales team

I use coldfusion in a lot of my sites, is this supported in your new setup?
I see the CF logo at the bottom of the page with all the other logos but I can’t find mention of it on any of the new hosting plans.

    Nick
We are not offering cold fusion at present. The demand is not high enough to warrant the licensing fees and Adobe doesn’t have any form of service provider licensing unfortunately

    Michele
