Get the BBQ ready – this June bank holiday weekend is set to be a scorcher!

As most of us have discovered at this stage,  there is plenty to do outdoors within our 5km limit, a little bit of nice weather has made all the difference.

Our very own weatherman Alan O’Reilly, aka ‘Carlow Weather‘ gave us this update for the weekend

“A lovely bank holiday weekend ahead with plenty of sunny spells and getting up to 25c in some areas with most seeing over 21c in light winds. Remember the sunscreen!”

The following working arrangements will be in place at Blacknight:

Support will be available by email and live chat from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday. Telephone service will be provided for support, accounts and sales from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The usual on-call support will be available to colocation and dedicated server customers.

Online domain sales will be unaffected, with the exception of IE domains, which require manual confirmation by IE Domain Registry (IEDR), who will be closed for on Monday.

Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday June 2.

If you are looking for something a little different, Board Bia’s Bloom Festival has moved to an online event. The event is on Sunday May 31st, with lots of cooking and gardening demonstrations throughout the day. President Higgins will deliver his annual address from Áras an Uachtaráin at 11am to kick it all off.

If running or walking is your thing, there is a 10KM Mini Marathon also on Sunday May 31st, which begins at 10am. All finishers will receive a special medal in the post. The virtual race is in aid of the Down Syndrome Centre, you can register here.

Whatever you find yourself doing this weekend, we hope you have an enjoyable and safe bank holiday weekend!
