.Irish Is Go!

I love it when a plan comes together ..

The .irish domain name extension is finally in “landrush” and “general availability”, when everyone will be able to get their preferred domain on a first come first served basis is only a few weeks away.

This is exciting.

A domain name for the global Irish community – which as we know is HUGE – is fantastic and as an Irish company we’re really excited about it.

Personally I’m overjoyed that the years of hard work behind the scenes have finally paid off and the dream of a group of clever entrepreneurs is now reality. (On a sidenote, it’s sad that one of the TLD’s founders passed away before his vision became reality)

So if you feel Irish you can now order a .irish domain name – at the moment we’re in the “landrush” phase, when some of the more “attractive” domains will probably be snapped up.

In a few weeks time the registrations for everyone will open up fully.
