Unfortunately, while it may be the glue that binds everything together (excuse the puns!) , it is one of those things that really confuses people.

    Interesting that you should post this (coincidence?) as I’ve just been reading about Google’s new Public DNS and trying to understand what it actually is and does. I think I get it.
