This year marks a huge milestone for our friends at .IE. They’re celebrating an incredible 25 years of powering Ireland’s online presence! From businesses and charities to individuals and communities, the .ie domain has been at the heart of Ireland’s digital identity, helping people connect, grow, and thrive online.
To mark this amazing achievement, .IE isn’t just celebrating but they’re giving back.
Introducing “.ie Gives Back”
From 19 September 2025, the .ie Gives Back Campaign will run for 25 days. During this time, for every .ie domain registered or renewed, .IE will donate €1 to a special charity fund.
At the end of the campaign, the fund will be shared among five inspiring charities that do incredible work across Ireland and beyond:
- Make-A-Wish Ireland
- UNICEF Ireland
- DSPCA
- An Cosán
- Focus Ireland
That means every new registration or renewal of a .ie domain isn’t just securing your place online but it’s also making a positive impact in people’s lives.
We were delighted to join .IE last night at their 25th anniversary celebration. It was inspiring to see so many from Ireland’s digital community come together to mark this milestone. Here are a few highlights from the event.
