Monday 4 June is a public holiday in Ireland. Support will be available by email and live chat from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday. Telephone service will be provided for support, accounts and sales from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The usual on-call support will be available to colocation and dedicated server customers.

Online domain sales will be unaffected, with the exception of IE domains which require manual confirmation by the IE Domain Registry (IEDR). IEDR will be closed on Monday 4 June. As a result, .IE domain name registrations, registrant changes, or other administrative changes will not be possible until Tuesday 5 June. Nameserver updates will be possible during this period.

Normal office hours will resume on Tuesday 5 June.

Met Éireann forecasts a continuation of the current warm humid conditions for the weekend, with a warning of a risk thunder and high intensity rainfall in some parts this afternoon and evening.

It’s a big weekend for festivals in Ireland. Cork Harbour Festival kicks off tomorrow with Ocean to City – An Rás Mór. Blacknight is a sponsor of this event, which is Ireland’s very own long-distance rowing race attracting hundreds of participants annually.  Started in 2005, it has grown from its origin as a race for traditional fixed-seat boats into an all-inclusive rowing and paddling event, embracing everything from traditional wooden working boats, currachs, skiffs, gigs and longboats to contemporary ocean racing shells, kayaks, canoes and even stand-up paddle boards.

Bloom in the Phoenix Park is on in Dublin, and The Cat Laughs comedy festival is in Kilkenny. The Blackwater Valley Opera Festival is on in County Waterford, and bikers are gathering in Killarney.

Vantastival is on in County Louth, Forbidden Fruit is in Kilmainham, and it’s a weekend of Country Music and Americana in Ballinamore County Leitrim!
