He explained how ‘lockdown’ works in France, and showed us the ‘attestation’ form which everyone must complete and bring with them when leaving their house, explaining the purpose of their journey, when they left and when they expect to return. He knows of people who have been fined by police for failing to produce their ‘papers’.
