As a member of the i2Coalition DNA Working Group, we know there are several webinars worth attending throughout the year. There are two coming up in June that will be open to the public and definitely worth attending for anyone in the domain or internet tech space. Both events are free! The first is a discussion on phishing, malware, and spam mitigation, which is very relevant in the wake of several high-profile hacks recently. The second is a tribute to two industry leaders who died in the last year.

June 23: Best Practices Lecture Series on Phishing, Malware, and Spam
We are hosting the second in 2021’s four-part Best Practices Lecture Series on topics related to online abuse. The focus of this series is to highlight ways that the industry is coming together to address abuse, and this second instalment of our series focuses on how we are working together to solve problems associated with phishing, malware, and spam. Anybody who wants to learn more about industry efforts to solve abuse problems should come, so help us spread the word!

June 30: i2Coalition Community Awards Ceremony
This one is really special. We will be awarding two stellar community members who we have lost in the past year, Ben Butler of GoDaddy and Karl Zimmerman of Steadfast. This will be an opportunity for us to celebrate their lives and work. After each of them receives their posthumous award, we will have a period where their friends and colleagues can say a few words in their memories. We really hope that you will be able to join and help us to memorialize them.
