Recognition is always nice. It’s even nicer when it’s from your peers and when you find yourself not only being inducted into the Irish Internet Hall of Fame, then I guess it’s pretty “epic”.
The other week I was honoured to be inducted into the Irish Internet Hall of Fame alongside Ann O’Dea, Darren McAuliffe, Colm Lyon, Ray Nolan, Pat Phelan, Jerry Kennelly, Eamon Leonard, Colm Grealy, Brian Caulfield and Fergal O’Byrne. That group includes the founder of the first ISP in Ireland, so standing beside him on stage the other evening I honestly wondered how I’d even ended up there.
