Martin Dwyer is our guest on today’s episode of The Lock-In. A chef from Waterford, he and his wife Síle run a maison d’hôte guest house in France.

After running Dwyer’s Restaurant in Waterford for many years, in 2006 Martin and Síle bought an old presbytery in Languedoc and moved to the South of France.
He explained how ‘lockdown’ works in France, and showed us the ‘attestation’ form which everyone must complete and bring with them when leaving their house, explaining the purpose of their journey, when they left and when they expect to return. He knows of people who have been fined by police for failing to produce their ‘papers’.
