I’m delighted and honoured to be speaking and moderating at Domaining Europe later this week in Valencia, Spain.
This year’s event will see over 100 attendees from Europe and beyond coming together in Valencia to swap experiences about the domain name industry in 2015.
Topics being covered this year range from marketing, legal issues to hijacking, IANA transition, domain development and more.
The full agenda is here.
This is my third year attending and I always find the event to be both enjoyable and valuable.
Why?
Because you get to meet a nice broad cross-section of the domain industry.
Who attends?
Domain investors, entrepreneurs, domain name registrars, domain name registries and a variety of companies that serve various parts of the aftermarket.
Also, as it’s in Spain, you get to a non-anglophone perspective on things, which is quite refreshing.
I’ll be on a panel on Thursday afternoon which will be discussing ICANN and what’s currently going on there. So we’ll be touching on things like the new TLD program, the IANA transition and probably some other items like data privacy issues.
I’ll also be moderating two panels this year. One is on marketing new TLDs, while the other is on domain development.
It should be a fun couple of days and I’ll try to tweet a few photos and more from the event if I can.
