Last night a couple of us were in Dublin’s Mansion House for the Bord Gais Social Media Awards 2011.
The event, which was run by Mulley Communications, was very well organised with live music and a nice drinks reception before the official part of the evening began.
As usual the MC was Mr Rick O’Shea who led the evening’s “fun and games” in his own inimitable style.
We had been shortlisted in several categories but I was still surprised and delighted when we actually won the award for Best Business Twitter Account – Marketing & Sales.
Winning awards is always nice, but when you win an award for something like Twitter it’s even nicer..
It was also a great chance to catch up with some of our clients, friends and acquaintances and to make new ones.. Plus we got to give away a few USB keys
